# Create database

`POST https://api.instacloud.com/projects/{projectId}/database/databases`

**Token scope:** `account` · `org` · `project` — read-only tokens refused (not a GET).

Create a database in the postgres server. Host remains the same; only the database name changes in connection URLs.
