You can now buy a domain using InstaCloud. Search for a name, pay, and InsForge registers it on your behalf: no registrar account, no contact forms, no SSL certificates to renew. InstaCloud manages the nameservers and DNS records for you, so your domain goes live with nothing to configure.

Attach your domain to any compute service

insta domain search myapp
insta domain buy myapp.com
insta domain attach api.myapp.com --group my-api-service

The above commands buy the domain myapp.com and attach it to my-api-service. You can ask your agent to run them, or do it manually by purchasing the domain from the Domains page and then attaching it to the service you want.

You can manage DNS records for each domain too, adding your own to point at any external service you use.
